Happy Monday! How was your weekend? Mine went way to quickly. I spent Saturday with my parents and had a great time. Sunday, I decided to take a few hours and get out of the apartment and do a little shopping. I hit up target, Michael's, and price chopper. Found some fantastic clearance deals at Michael's. $0.28 note cards and ribbon and all sorts of goodies!



I'm feeling good today. For the first time in probably 8 months, the Sprint bill is caught up and paid on time!! The Money situation is getting better. I guess all I needed was for Mom to point out the obvious, I shop and eat out way to much!

My Day Zero Project : 101 in 1001

I learned about this project from one of my daily blogs "Heather Drive". If you haven't read or seen Heather's blog, I highly recommend it. I don't see how the girl does all that she does, but I do find her to be an inspiration.


I read her ideas on the project and thought to myself that I needed something like that to help me get my life in order, something to help guide me and keep me focused and get things done. I tried keeping my 101 items reasonable and doable for me. It took me about a week to come up with 101 things. I could have easily made a list in about an hour, but money comes into play and the lack of free time for me and my husband/family. A few items on my list are simple, a few make me question my thinking and a couple things may be a big challenge, but I do hope they all get completed.

wow, it's been one year since danny and I tied the knot. What a wonderful day it was. I keep reflecting back on all the events that lead up to 08-08-08 and everything that happened on that day. Running late for pictures, the original flowers died, mom trying to hobble around on two bad knees, the tears, the stress, the dress... all to hear him say "I DO". Since we made it a year... does that mean we are no longer newlyweds?

Danny and I stayed the night on Thursday at the Ameristar casino on Thursday. We had a nice evening. Checking out on Friday morning we got to see/meet Alice Cooper. I was too shy to ask for a photograph or autograph tho! I've been kicking myself in the butt ever since.

I love you Danny! Happy 1st Anniversary!

PS. mom is out of the hospital (what a great anniversary gift!) She went in earlier this week for knee replacement surgery and was released today. knee is still sore but she'll get better!
